Daniel has 18 years of experience as a professional social worker. His previous experience includes serving as the Coordinator of Grief Support & Spiritual Care Services with Hospice of the Panhandle where he also served as a member of the Bereavement Professional Steering Committee Member on the National Council for Hospice & Palliative Professionals. Daniel has extensive professional educational presentation experience having presented both nationally and locally. He has been an adjunct social work instructor for Shepherd University and Salisbury University. Additionally, Daniel has served on the Board of Directors for Community Alternatives to Violence and currently serves on the Program Advisory Board for the Shepherd University Department of Social Work.

He utilizes psychotherapy modalities such as reflective and cognitive based therapies and EMDR to enhanced clients’ emotional, physical and spiritual well-being so that they can lead more whole, authentic and creative lives. Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She currently works at the counseling center at Shepherd University. Karen is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
